R.シュトラウスはカラヤンだけれど
R.シュトラウスの名演と言えば、カラヤンだけれども、もう１つ聴いてみたいと
いう人にいいと思う。英雄の生涯などもそうですが、R.シュトラウスの曲という
のは難解で、演奏者泣かせの曲が多い中、このCDは比較的いい演奏をしていると
思います。ドイツの交響楽団でもなく、確かシカゴか何かだったと思いますが
気になりませんでした。録音が古い？かもしれませんが、それも気になりません
でした。カラヤンの嫌いな人は、他にもプライベート版で、ベームのいい演奏が
ステレオ版で出ています。（プライベート版というより、海賊版です。）
